Trailer Lamps

The trailer tow system consists of the following components:

Trailer tow connector
TRM, if equipped
BJB
BCM

The trailer tow parking lamps relay supplies voltage to the trailer parking lamps.

The BJB supplies voltage to the trailer reversing lamps.

If not equipped with a TRM, the BJB supplies voltage to the trailer stop/turn lamps

If equipped, the TRM supplies voltage to the trailer stop/turn lamps and trailer battery charging.

For vehicles equipped with push-button start, the trailer battery charging output is disabled when the drivers door is ajar.
