Oil Level Indicator and Tube: Removal

Upper oil level indicator tube

Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
Remove the bolt and position aside the transmission oil level indicator tube.

Remove the oil level indicator.

- Remove the nut and bolt for the oil level indicator.
- From below, remove the oil level indicator tube from the engine rear cover.

Remove and discard the O-ring seals.

Lower oil level indicator tube
Refer to: Engine Rear Cover .
Remove the bolts and the lower oil level indicator tube.
