Pinpoint Test B : The Lane Keeping System Does Not Provide Feedback When Activated: Notes

Normal Operation and Fault Conditions
The lane keeping system only provides feedback when the vehicle speed is above 64 km/h (40 mph) and lane markings are detected on at least one side of the vehicle by the IPMA. REFER to: Lane Keeping System - System Operation and Component Description .
Possible Causes
- Communication network concern
- PSCM (integral to the steering gear)
- IPMA (located above the interior rear view mirror - except Raptor)
- IPMA (integral to the interior rear view mirror - Raptor)
Visual Inspection and Diagnostic Pre-Checks
- Verify the lane keeping system turns on and the display lines in the IPC turn green when the system is active and available. If the lines do NOT turn green, GO to Pinpoint Test A
