Front Center Seat Backrest Cover - Regular Cab: Removal

All seats
- Remove the front center seat. Refer to: Front Center Seat .
- Position the seat cushion up.
- Remove the cup holder.
- Remove screws and the seat storage tray.
- Position the seat cushion down.
- Release the seat latch and fold the seat backrest down.
- Remove the backrest latch cover.
- Remove the screws, release the retaining clip and remove the RH side shield.
- Remove the screws, release the retaining clips and remove the LH side shield.
- Release the seat latch and raise the seat backrest up.
- Remove the head restraint guide sleeves. Refer to: Front Head Restraint Guide Sleeve .
- Remove the backrest.
- Remove the stop bolt.
Torque: 22 lb.ft (30 Nm)
- Remove the pivot bolt.
Torque: 33 lb.ft (45 Nm)
- Remove the backrest latch upper bolts.
Torque: 33 lb.ft (45 Nm)
- Remove the stop bolt.
- Remove the cup holder insert.
- Remove the cup holder.
- Remove the screw.
- Release the retaining clips.
Seats with storage tray
- Remove the trim cover.
- Remove the armrest storage tray.
- Remove the screws.
- Release the retainers.
- Remove the storage tray.

NOTE: Seat backrest with seatbelt retractor shown, seat backrest without seatbelt retractor similar.
Release the cover from the J-hooks and remove the backrest cover.
Seats without storage tray
- Position the backrest cover flap aside.
- Release the cover from the J-hooks and position the backrest cover aside.

NOTE: Use care when separating the seat backrest trim cover from the hook-and-loop strip or the hook-and-loop strip may be torn from the seat backrest foam pad.
Release the hook-and-loop strip and remove the backrest cover.
