Brake Master Cylinder: Removal

  1. If equipped, disconnect the front drive axle vent retainer.

  2. Disconnect the brake fluid level sensor electrical connector.

  3. Disconnect the 2 brake tube fittings.

    1. Disconnect the primary brake tube fitting.

      Torque

      : 22 lb.ft (30 Nm)

    2. Disconnect the secondary brake tube fitting.

      Torque

      : 177 lb.in (20 Nm)

  4. Remove the 2 nuts and the brake master cylinder.

    Torque

    : 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)
