Differential Fluid Level Check

Check
- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
- Remove the differential fluid fill plug.
- If draining is needed. Using a general equipment, remove as much fluid as possible from the RDU. Use the General Equipment: Fluid Suction Gun
- Check and top off the differential with clean differential gear lubricant. The differential gear lubricant level should be within 10 mm (0.0394 in.) from the fluid level fill plug opening. Refer to: Specifications .

- Install the differential fluid fill plug.
Torque: 38 lb.ft (51 Nm)
