Variable Camshaft Timing (VCT) Oil Control Solenoid: Removal

RH (right-hand) Variable Camshaft Timing (VCT) Oil Control Solenoids
- Remove the nuts and the engine appearance cover.
Torque: 42 lb.in (4.8 Nm)
- Disconnect the electrical connectors, remove the bolts and the RH VCT oil control solenoids.
Torque: 97 lb.in (11 Nm)
LH (left-hand) Variable Camshaft Timing (VCT) Oil Control Solenoids
- Remove the nuts and the engine appearance cover.
Torque: 42 lb.in (4.8 Nm)
- Disconnect the electrical connectors and pushpin retainer.
- Remove the hose clamps, nut and the EGR differential pressure sensor.
- Remove the retainers and the EGR intermediate tube.
Torque: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)
- Remove the bolts and the LH VCT oil control solenoid.
Torque: 97 lb.in (11 Nm)
