Normal Operation and Fault Conditions

If the 4x4 high/low status, hill descent message request, stability-traction control on/off message request, vehicle pitch angle display, vehicle roll angle display, steering wheel angle, front camera display status or vehicle speed messages are missing for less than 5 seconds, the IPC defaults the associated display element to the last display based on the last data received.

If the 4x4 high/low status, hill descent message request, stability-traction control on/off message request, vehicle pitch angle display, vehicle roll angle display, steering wheel angle, front camera display status or vehicle speed messages are missing for 5 seconds or longer, the IPC sets a lost communication DTC for the module in question and defaults the associated display element off or blank.
