Muffler Inlet Pipe - Vehicles With: Dual Exhaust System: Removal

- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
- Remove the tailpipe hanger brackets.
Torque: 106 lb.in (12 Nm)
- Loosen the muffler inlet pipe rear clamps.
Torque: 41 lb.ft (55 Nm)
- Release the muffler isolators and position the muffler and tailpipe assembly rearward.
- Loosen the clamp.
Torque: 41 lb.ft (55 Nm)
- Remove the bolts.
Torque: 30 lb.ft (40 Nm)
- Remove the muffler inlet pipe.
