Muffler - Vehicles With: Dual Exhaust System: Removal

With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
Remove the tailpipes. Refer to: Tailpipe .
1. Loosen the muffler front clamps.
  Torque: 41 lb.ft (55 Nm)
2. Release the muffler assembly from the exhaust isolator hangers then carefully remove the muffler from the vehicle.
