Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Temperature Sensor: Removal

EGR Cooler outlet Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Temperature 12 Sensor
- Remove air cleaner outlet pipe. Refer to: Air Cleaner Outlet Pipe .
- Disconnect the EGRT (exhaust gas recirculation temperature) sensor electrical connector.
- Detach the Exhaust Gas Recirculation Temperature (EGRT) sensor electrical connector retainer and then detach the wire from the wire retainer.

NOTE: Lubricate the EGRT (exhaust gas recirculation temperature) sensor threads with penetrating and lock lubricant to assist in removal of the EGRT (exhaust gas recirculation temperature) sensor.
Remove the EGRT (exhaust gas recirculation temperature) sensor.

EGR Cooler inlet Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Temperature 11 Sensor
- Remove the upper intake manifold. Refer to: Upper Intake Manifold .

NOTE: Lubricate the EGRT (exhaust gas recirculation temperature) sensor threads with penetrating and lock lubricant to assist in removal of the EGRT (exhaust gas recirculation temperature) sensor.
Remove the EGRT (exhaust gas recirculation temperature) sensor.
