Muffler Inlet Pipe: Removal

With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
Loosen the clamp.
Torque: 35 lb.ft (48 Nm)

Loosen the muffler inlet bolts.
Torque: 30 lb.ft (40 Nm)

Rotate inlet pipe to allow muffler release.

Slide the muffler and tailpipe rearward out of the insulators and remove the muffler and tailpipe

Remove the bolts and the muffler inlet pipe.
Torque: 30 lb.ft (40 Nm)
