Axle Bump Stop: Installation

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
NOTE: Do not use any lubrication on the axle bump stop or damage to the axle bump stop may occur.

NOTE: If installing a new Axle Bump Stop, make sure the yellow dot on the Axle Bump Stop is pointed toward the rear of the vehicle.
- Inspect and, if necessary, install new axle bump stop.

NOTE: Do not use power tools to remove or install the axle bump stop bolt. Damage to the axle bump stop may occur.

NOTE: Make sure the yellow dot on the Axle Bump Stop is pointed toward the rear of the vehicle.
1. Inspect the yellow paint dot on axle bump stop.
2. Install the axle bump stop.
  Torque: 41 lb.ft (55 Nm)
