Transmission Filler Tube - 6.2L V8/6.8L Triton-30V - V10: Installation

Install a new transmission fluid filler tube O-ring seal (391308) and lubricate it with clean transmission fluid.
Material: Motorcraft ® MERCON ® LV Automatic Transmission Fluid / XT-10-QLVC (MERCON ® LV) (WSS-M2C938-A)

Install the transmission fluid filler tube (7A228) in the transmission and install the lower transmission fluid filler tube bolt.
Torque: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)

Install the upper transmission fluid filler tube bolt.

  Torque: 97 lb.in (11 Nm)
2. 6.8L Engine
  Torque: 97 lb.in (11 Nm)

Install the transmission fluid level indicator.
