Transmission Control Module (TCM): Removal

NOTE:
The TCM is located above the LHF fender splash shield.
- With the vehicle in NETURAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
- Remove the LHF fender splash shield. Refer to: Fender Splash Shield .

NOTE: Keep the TCM electrical connector straight when disconnecting it or damage the connector terminals can occur.
Slide the lock tab up and disconnect the TCM electrical connector.
- Slide the TCM backward in the bracket and remove the TCM.
