Selector Shaft Seal: Installation

- Lubricate a new manual shaft seal with clean transmission fluid and install it in the transmission case.
Material: Motorcraft ® MERCON ® LV Automatic Transmission Fluid / XT-10-QLVC (MERCON ® LV) (WSS-M2C938-A)
- Install the manual control lever and the nut.
Torque: 18 lb.ft (24 Nm)
- Connect the selector lever cable end to the manual control lever.
- Check the transmission fluid level. Refer to: Transmission Fluid Level Check .
