Extension Housing Seal: Removal

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
  2. Remove the following items:

    1. Refer to: Transmission Support Insulator .
    2. Refer to: REAR DRIVESHAFT .

  3. Remove the extension housing bolts and the extension housing.

  4. Remove and discard the O-ring seal (7B031) from the extension housing.

  5. Remove and discard the rear bushing fluid feed seal (7H366).
