Normal Operation and Fault Conditions
The TCM sets one or more of the following DTCs U0100, U0115, U0294 when it has not received messages for more than 2 seconds. Other modules that require data from the TCM all set communication DTCs and may also exhibit system concerns.
DTC Fault Trigger Conditions

| U0100:00 | Lost Communication With ECM/PCM "A": No Sub Type Information | Sets in continuous memory in the TCM if powertrain data messages received from the PCM over the HS-CAN are missing for longer than 2 seconds. |
| U0115:00 | Lost Communication With ECM/PCM "B": No Sub Type Information | Sets in continuous memory in the TCM but only when the DTC U0100 is not set. DTC U0115 sets when less critical data messages such as coolant temperature information received from the PCM over the HS-CAN is missing for longer than 2 seconds. |
