Powerflow
In 6th gear, SSE is commanded OFF by the PCM/ TCM to apply the overdrive (4, 5, 6) clutch. SSC is commanded ON to apply the intermediate (2, 6) clutch. The overdrive (4, 5, 6) clutch is applied to transfer power from the input shaft to the rear planetary carrier and the intermediate (2, 6) clutch is applied to hold the No. 2 sun gear, transferring power through the rear planetary carrier to the rear ring gear/output shaft at a 0.674 to 1 ratio.
