Rear Seat LH - Crew Cab: Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
  1. Remove the RH seat. Refer to: Rear Seat RH - Crew Cab  .

    Vehicles with inflatable seatbelts 

  2. NOTE: Follow the unique instruction or graphic for this step in installation.

    Open the seatbelt tongue cover.

    1. Push the seatbelt tongue lower cover to one side, lift and disengage that side of the cover.
    2. Push the seatbelt tongue lower cover to one side, lift and disengage that side of the cover.
    3. Push the seatbelt tongue lower cover forward to disengage and open the cover.

  3. NOTE: Follow the unique instruction or graphic for this step in installation.

    Disassemble the lap belt from the seatbelt tongue.

    1. Push down on the lap belt spring clip.
    2. Remove the pin.
    3. Pull the lap belt through the seatbelt tongue cover.

    Vehicles without inflatable seatbelts 

  4. Remove the bolt and position the seatbelt aside.

    Torque: 30 lb.ft (40 Nm)

    All vehicles 

  5. NOTE: The rear seat cushion must be unlocked to perform this step if vehicle has rear under seat storage.

    Raise the rear seat cushion.

  6. Remove the rear seat front bolts.

    Torque: 35 lb.ft (47 Nm)

  7. NOTE: The seat backrest latch is only accessible when the seat cushion is raised.
    NOTE: During installation the striker should be in its lowest position for the latch to engage.

    Fold the LH rear seat backrest down.

    1. Raise the seat cushion.
    2. Release the backrest latch.
    3. Fold the backrest down.

  8. If equipped. Remove the subwoofer.

    1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
    2. Remove the bolt.

      Torque: 62 lb.in (7 Nm)

    3. Remove the nuts.

      Torque: 62 lb.in (7 Nm)

  9. Disconnect the heated seat electrical connector and remove the seat rear bolts.

    Torque: 59 lb.ft (80 Nm)

  10. Remove the seat.

    1. Route the center seatbelt through the cushion opening.
    2. Remove the seat.
