Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor: Removal

Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor - Primary Cooling System
- Drain the cooling system. Refer to: Cooling System Draining, Vacuum Filling and Bleeding .
- Disconnect the ECT primary cooling system sensor electrical connector. Remove the ECT primary cooling system sensor.
Torque: 20 lb.ft (27 Nm)
Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor - Secondary Cooling System ECT2
- Drain the cooling system. Refer to: Cooling System Draining, Vacuum Filling and Bleeding .
- Disconnect the ECT secondary cooling system (ECT2) sensor electrical connector and remove the sensor.
