Overview
Front Door Power Windows
Standard power window features include one-touch up and one-touch down operation for the driver and front passenger door.
The window control switch:
- can be used to raise/lower all windows from the master window control switch or the individual passenger window from the corresponding door switch.
- has a rear passenger window lock-out feature located on the master window control switch (Super Cab and Crew Cab only). When activated, the rear door windows only operate from the master window control switch.
Global Open
The RKE can be used to operate the windows when the ignition is off and the accessory delay feature is not active. Within a short time after unlocking the vehicle doors with the RKE transmitter, press and hold the unlock button on the RKE transmitter until the windows begin moving. The windows automatically open. Pressing the lock or unlock button while the windows are moving stops window movement.
Power Sliding Rear Window
If equipped, the power sliding rear window can be opened or closed by activating the power sliding rear window control switch located in the overhead console.
Rear Window Defrost
When the rear window defrost button (integral to the FCIM) is pressed, the FCIM activates the rear window defrost relay (located in the BJB). When the rear window defrost relay is active, the rear window defrost grid is energized.
