Transmission Fluid Cooler Coolant Thermostat: Removal

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
  2. NOTE: Be prepared to collect escaping fluid.

    Release the quick connect coupling and disconnect transmission fluid cooler outlet hose.

  3. Release the quick connect coupling and remove the thermostat assembly.
