Cooling Fan Upper Shroud: Removal

Remove the air cleaner outlet pipe. Refer to: Air Cleaner Outlet Pipe .
1. Remove the pin-type retainer and position the air intake duct aside.
2. Remove the retainers and upper radiator sight shield.

Remove the bolts, release the tab and position the secondary degas bottle aside.
Torque: 62 lb.in (7 Nm)

Detach the radiator hose retainer from the upper cooling fan shroud.

Remove the bolt and position the power steering fluid reservoir aside.
Torque: 62 lb.in (7 Nm)

Detach the fuel cooler to degas bottle hose and wiring harness retainers from the upper cooling fan shroud.

NOTE: During installation verify that the rubber stator seal is positioned fully outside the perimeter of the lower fan shroud.

Remove the bolts and the upper cooling fan shroud.

Torque: 62 lb.in (7 Nm)
