Removal And Installation: Radiator: Removal

- Drain the primary cooling system. Refer to: Engine Cooling System Draining, Vacuum Filling and Bleeding .
- Remove the powertrain secondary cooling radiator. Refer to: Radiator .
- Remove the upper cooling fan shroud. Refer to: Cooling Fan Upper Shroud .
- Remove the lower cooling fan shroud bolts.
Torque: 62 lb.in (7 Nm)
- Position the lower cooling fan shroud rearward towards the cooling fan stator.
- Pull the upper radiator hose spring clip until the end of the clip is in the detent on the quick connect coupling and disconnect the upper radiator hose.
- Pull the lower radiator hose spring clip up until the end of the clip is in the detent on the quick connect coupling and disconnect the lower radiator hose.
- Release the clamp and disconnect the radiator overflow hose. Use the General Equipment: Hose Clamp Remover/Installer
- Remove the push-pins and the lower air deflector.
- Remove the radiator.
