Upper Intake Manifold: Removal

- Remove the following items:
- Refer to: Cowl Panel .
- Refer to: Charge Air Cooler (CAC) Intake Pipe .

- Disconnect the wiring harness retainers.
- Disconnect the MAP sensor, EP (exhaust pressure) sensor, EGRT sensor and the turbocharger actuator electrical connectors.
- Disconnect the coolant hose retainer from the upper intake manifold.

- Remove the transmission fluid level indicator tube bolt and the engine oil level indicator tube bolt.
- Remove the nut and position aside the tubes.

- Loosen the retainers and remove the upper intake manifold.
- Cover or tape the opening on the valve covers and the lower intake manifold.
- Remove and discard the upper intake manifold gaskets.
