Lower Oil Pan: Installation

Apply a 4.5 mm (0.177 in) diameter bead of sealant 1.0 mm (0.039 in) outward of the chamfer on the lower oil pan sealing face.
Material: Motorcraft® High Performance Engine RTV Silicone / TA-357 (WSE-M4G323-A6)

Install the lower oil pan and the bolts.
Torque: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)

Install a new oil filter.
Material: Motorcraft® SAE 10W-30 Super Duty Diesel Motor Oil / XO-10W30-QSDF (WSS-M2C171-F1)

Torque: Stage 1: 44 lb.in (5 Nm) | Stage 2: 230 deg.
