Hydraulic Lash Adjuster: Installation

NOTE: Apply clean engine oil to the hydraulic lash adjuster prior to installation.
- Using a magnetic telescopic pick-up tool, install the hydraulic lash adjuster into the valve tappet assembly.
Material: Motorcraft® SAE 10W-30 Super Duty Diesel Motor Oil / XO-10W30-QSDF (WSS-M2C171-F1)
- Verify that the hydraulic lash adjuster is properly installed.
- Using a magnetic telescopic pick-up tool, install the hydraulic lash adjuster into the valve tappet assembly.
