Front Brake Flexible Hose: Removal

NOTE:
Make sure that all openings are sealed.
NOTE:
If the fluid is spilled on the paintwork, the affected area must be immediately washed down with cold water.
NOTE:

All vehicles
- Remove the wheel and tire. Refer to: Wheel and Tire - Vehicles With: Single Rear Wheels . Refer to: Wheel and Tire - Vehicles With: Dual Rear Wheels .
- Remove the bolt and disconnect the brake hose. Discard the washers.
Torque: 35 lb.ft (48 Nm)
Vehicles with mono-beam axle
- Detach the wheel speed sensor harness retainers.

- Detach the vacuum hose retainer.
- Separate the vacuum hose.
- Remove the bolt and position the brake hose bracket aside.
Torque: 159 lb.in (18 Nm)
Vehicles with twin I-Beam axle

- Detach the wheel speed sensor harness retainers.
- Remove and discard the sway bar link upper nut and bolt.
Torque: 85 lb.ft (115 Nm)
All vehicles
-
- Disconnect the brake tube fitting.
Torque: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)
- Remove the bolt and the front brake flexible hose.
Torque: 30 lb.ft (40 Nm)
- Disconnect the brake tube fitting.
