Slow to fill
Possible Sources
- Fuel tank filler pipe vent tube, if equipped
- Evaporative Emission (EVAP) system
- Fuel tank inlet check valve (part of the fuel tank assembly)
- Fuel level vent valve, if equipped (part of the fuel tank assembly)
Visual Inspection and Diagnostic Pre-checks
- Verify the customer's concern by refueling the vehicle and observe the fuel fill rate.
- Inspect for incorrect routing of the fuel tank filler pipe vent tube (if equipped)
- Inspect for incorrect position of fuel tank filler pipe fresh air hose or recirculation tube clamps (if equipped)
- Inspect for unauthorized modifications and/or alterations to the vehicle
