B-Pillar Trim Panel - Crew Cab: Removal

Upper and Lower B-Pillar Trim Panels
- Release the clips and remove the front door scuffplate trim panel.
- Release the clips and remove the rear door scuffplate trim panel.
- Position the front door weatherstrip aside.
- Position the rear door weatherstrip aside.
- Disengage the seatbelt pretensioner boot from the pretensioner bezel.
- Remove the pretensioner bezel.
- Release the clips, position the seatbelt aside and remove the lower B-pillar trim panel.
Upper B-Pillar Trim Panel
- Remove the D-ring bolt cover.
- Remove the D-ring bolt and position the seatbelt aside.
Torque: 30 lb.ft (40 Nm)
- Remove the assist handle bolt cover.
- Release the assist handle cover retaining tabs. Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover
- Detach the tether clip and remove the assist handle bolt cover.
- Remove the bolts and the assist handle.
- Remove the bolts.
Torque: 106 lb.in (12 Nm)
- Remove the assist handle.
- Remove the bolts.
- Release the upper B-pillar trim panel lower clip.

NOTE: The trim panel must be positioned downward to allow the upper clips to release correctly. Failure to follow this may cause damage to the trim panel.
Slide the upper B-pillar trim panel down, aligning the clips to the slots in the sheet metal.
- Remove the upper B-pillar trim panel.
