Wheel and Tire - Vehicles With: Dual Rear Wheels: Removal

NOTE: Typical wheel cover shown, others may vary by application.
If equipped. Remove the wheel cover.
- Check the torque for all of the wheel nuts. If any wheel nuts have a torque above 312 Nm (230 lb-ft), install all new wheel studs on that wheel hub. For additional information, Refer to the appropriate Suspension article for the procedure.
- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .

NOTE: Do not use heat to loosen a seized wheel nut or damage to the wheel and wheel bearing can occur.NOTE: 10 lug wheel shown, 8 lug similar.
Remove the wheel nuts.

NOTE: On vehicles equipped with 19.5-in and larger wheels, use Rotunda Heavy Duty Wheel Dolly 014-00030 or equivalent to aid in the removal of the wheel and tire assemblies.
Remove the outer and inner wheel and tire assemblies.
