Engine Hour And Engine Idle Hour

The IPC provides engine hour and engine idle hour displays in the message center and uses the following network messages to control the engine hour and engine idle hour displays.
- Engine rpm data
- Vehicle speed
The IPC receives the engine rpm data message for both displays from the GWM over the HS-CAN3. The GWM receives the engine speed message for both displays from the PCM over the HS-CAN1.
The engine idle hour displays also uses vehicle speed to identify whether the engine is simply idling or if the vehicle is being driven. The IPC receives the vehicle speed message from the GWM over the HS-CAN3. The GWM receives the vehicle speed message from the PCM over the HS-CAN1.
