Brake Master Cylinder: Removal

- If equipped with a secondary battery, remove the secondary battery tray. Refer to: Battery Tray .

- If equipped, remove the caps.
- Detach the wiring harness retainers.
- Disconnect the brake fluid level sensor electrical connector and position the wiring harness aside.

- Disconnect the primary brake tube fitting.
Torque: 22 lb.ft (30 Nm)
- Disconnect the secondary brake tube fitting.
Torque: 16 lb.ft (22 Nm)
- Disconnect the primary brake tube fitting.
- Remove the nuts and the brake master cylinder.
Torque: 22 lb.ft (30 Nm)
