Trailer Hitch: Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

Remove the rear bumper. Refer to: Rear Bumper .
Disconnect the electrical connector LH side and position aside the wiring harness.

Position aside the wiring harness on the RH side.

Remove the bumper bracket-to-trailer hitch bolts on both sides.

With help of an assistant, remove the trailer hitch-to-frame bolts on both sides and remove the trailer hitch assembly.
Torque: 203 lb.ft (275 Nm)
