Ball Joint: Installation

  1. NOTE: To avoid damage to the components, do not use heat to aid ball joint installation
    NOTE: The upper ball joint must be installed first.

    With the help of an assistant, Install the upper ball joint. Use Special Service Tool: 204-355 Remover/Installer, Ball Joint., 205-086 (T74P-4635-C) Installer/Remover, C-Frame and Screw.. Use the General Equipment: Vise

  2. With the help of an assistant, Install the lower ball joint. Use Special Service Tool: 204-358 Remover/Installer, Ball Joint., 205-086 (T74P-4635-C) Installer/Remover, C-Frame and Screw.. Use the General Equipment: Vise

  3. Install the snap ring on the lower ball joint.. Use the General Equipment: Vise. Use the General Equipment: Snap Ring Pliers

  4. Install the wheel knuckle. Refer to: Wheel Knuckle .
