Radius Arm - F-250 F-350: Removal

Use the same or equivalent parts if replacement is necessary. Do not use a replacement part of lesser quality or substitute design. Tighten fasteners as specified.

Remove the spring. Refer to: Spring - F-250/F-350 .
NOTE: LH shown, RH similar.

Remove and discard the radius arm forward nut and bolt.

Torque: 295 lb.ft (400 Nm)

NOTE: Tighten the radius arm rearward nut with the suspension at curb height or damage to the bushing may occur.

Remove and discard the radius arm rearward nut and bolt.

Torque: 221 lb.ft (300 Nm)
