Wheel Spindle - F-250/F-350: Installation

  1. NOTE: Before securing the upper ball joint pinch joint, make sure the lower ball joint is fully tightened and the cotter pin is installed. Once the lower ball joint is secured, check the position of the alignment slug making sure it is not in contact with the upper ball joint seal. Tighten the upper pinch joint.

    To install, reverse the removal procedure.

  2. NOTE: This step is only necessary if the wheel spindle has been replaced.

    Check and if necessary align the front end. Refer to: Front Camber and Caster Adjustment - F-250/F-350, RWD .
