- Normal Operation and Fault Conditions
- Selector lever cable disconnected
- REINSTALL the selector lever cable. REFER to: Selector Lever Cable - 6-Speed Automatic Transmission - 6R100 . REFER to: Selector Lever Cable - 6-Speed Automatic Transmission - 6R140 .
- Selector lever cable broken
- Verify the selector lever cable is attached to the selector lever mechanism. Disconnect the selector lever cable from the transmission manual lever. Push and pull on the end of the cable. If the cable moves independently of the selector lever, INSTALL a new selector lever cable. REFER to: Selector Lever Cable - 6-Speed Automatic Transmission - 6R100 .
