Adjustment

Using alignment equipment and the manufacturer's instructions, measure the toe settings.
- Refer to Alignment Specifications in the Specifications portion of this information for optimal alignment settings. Refer to: Specifications .
- If the toe settings are not within specification, go to the next step.
Start the engine and center the steering wheel.
Steering wheel in straight ahead position.

On both sides. Loosen the tie rod adjuster sleeve nuts.
Torque: 41 lb.ft (55 Nm)

Rotate the center link to the correct toe setting.

Make sure that the RH tie rod end is not misaligned, as shown in illustration 2. Adjust the position as necessary as shown in illustration 1.

Verify the toe settings and adjust as necessary.
