Roof Opening Panel Frame: Removal

- Fully open the roof opening panel shield.

NOTE: The air deflector must be installed with the roof opening panel in the open position.
If replacing the roof opening panel frame, remove the air deflector. Refer to: Air Deflector .
- Fully close the roof opening panel glass.
- Remove the roof opening panel glass. Refer to: Roof Opening Panel Glass .
- Remove the headliner. Refer to: Headliner - Crew Cab .
- Remove both side curtain airbags. Refer to: Side Curtain Airbag - Crew Cab .
- Disconnect the antenna electrical connector and detach the pin-type retainer.
- Disconnect the front drain tubes.
- Remove the bolts, detach the pin-type retainers and remove the front beam.
Torque: 106 lb.in (12 Nm)
- Disconnect the rear drain tubes and the roof opening panel motor electrical connectors.
- Fold the rear seat cushions upward.
- With the aid of an assistant, remove the bolts and remove the roof opening panel frame from the LH rear door opening.
Torque: 106 lb.in (12 Nm)
