Dual Catalytic Converter Y-Pipe: Installation

- Clean all exhaust connections before reassembly.

NOTE: Do not tighten the fasteners until all components are aligned.
Install the exhaust Y-pipe in the vehicle and loosely install the new LH exhaust Y-pipe-toexhaust manifold nuts.

NOTE: Do not tighten the fasteners until all components are aligned.
Loosely install the new RH exhaust Y-pipe-to-exhaust manifold nuts.

NOTE: Install new clamp if necessary.NOTE: Do not tighten the fasteners until all components are aligned.
Position the clamp on both pipes and slide it forward.

NOTE: Do not tighten the fasteners until all components are aligned.
Loosely install the exhaust Y-pipe-to-front muffler bolts.
- Evenly tighten the LH exhaust Y-pipe-to-exhaust manifold nuts.
Torque: 30 lb.ft (40 Nm)
- Evenly tighten the RH exhaust Y-pipe-to-exhaust manifold nuts.
Torque: 30 lb.ft (40 Nm)
- Evenly tighten the exhaust Y-pipe-to-front muffler bolts.
Torque: 30 lb.ft (40 Nm)
- Tighten the clamp.
Torque: 35 lb.ft (48 Nm)
- Attach the wire retainer and connect the RH side HO2S and catalyst monitor sensor electrical connectors.
- Connect the LH side HO2S and catalyst monitor sensor electrical connectors.
- Check the exhaust system for leaks.
