Transmission Filler Tube - 6.7L Power Stroke Diesel: Installation

- Install a new transmission fluid filler tube O-ring seal (391308) and lubricate it with clean transmission fluid.
Material
Motorcraft® MERCON® LV Automatic Transmission Fluid / XT-10-QLVC (WSS-M2C938-A) (MERCON® LV,)
- Install the transmission fluid filler tube (7A228) in the transmission and install the lower transmission fluid filler tube bolt.
Torque:
18 lb.ft (25 Nm)
- Install the exhaust downpipe. Refer to: Exhaust Downpipe .
- Install the upper transmission fluid filler tube bolt.
Torque:
97 lb.in (11 Nm)
- Install the transmission fluid level indicator.
- Check the transmission fluid level. Refer to: Transmission Fluid Level Check .
