Transmission Case: Disassembly

- Using a punch, remove and discard the manual shaft-to-TR sensor roll pin (7G100). Use the General Equipment: Punch
- Loosen the TR sensor detent spring bolt and the detent spring enough to remove the tension from the TR sensor.
- Slide the manual shaft out and remove the TR sensor, park pawl actuator rod and the manual shaft.

- Remove the bolt and the TR sensor detent spring.
- Remove the park pawl pin plug.
- Remove the park pawl pin and the park pawl.
- Install the special tools on the rear bearing and remove the inner and outer output shaft bearings. Use Special Service Tool: 204-594 Forcing screw., 307-648 Remover/Installer, Rear Bearing.
- If equipped, Remove and discard the PTO cover bolts (W708587). Remove the PTO cover and gasket. Discard the gasket (7A036).
