Intermediate clutch does not apply	SSC is mechanically stuck OFF	INSTALL a new solenoid. REFER to: Shift Solenoids (SS) . CARRY OUT the Transmission Strategy Download. REFER to: Transmission Strategy Download .
	Intermediate clutch feed tube or seals damaged or leaking	REMOVE and INSPECT the intermediate clutch feed tube and seals. INSTALL new seals. REFER to: Main Control Valve Body .
	Intermediate (2, 6) Clutch regulator valve stuck OFF	DISASSEMBLE, CLEAN and INSPECT the intermediate clutch regulator valve. If the bore or valve is damaged, INSTALL a new main control valve body. REFER to: Main Control Valve Body .
	Intermediate (2, 6) Clutch latch valve stuck OFF	DISASSEMBLE, CLEAN and INSPECT the intermediate clutch latch valve. If the bore or valve is damaged, INSTALL a new main control valve body. REFER to: Main Control Valve Body .
	D432, CB26, PC3, PC3Z, CB26FB hydraulic circuits blocked/leaking. PC3 Solenoid damper missing/damaged	DISASSEMBLE and INSPECT the main control valve body and separator plate passages for debris/blockage/leaks. CLEAN as necessary. REFER to: Main Control Valve Body .
	Center support, intermediate clutch hub/direct clutch drum	DISASSEMBLE and INSPECT the components for wear and damage. INSTALL new components as necessary. REFER to: Transmission .
	Intermediate clutch friction plates	DISASSEMBLE and INSPECT the friction and steel plates for wear and damage. CLEAN and/or INSTALL new components as necessary. REFER to: Transmission .
	Intermediate clutch piston seals	DISASSEMBLE and INSPECT the seals for wear and damage. INSTALL new seals. REFER to: Transmission .
Intermediate clutch always applied	SSC mechanically stuck ON	INSTALL a new solenoid. REFER to: Shift Solenoids (SS) . CARRY OUT the Transmission Strategy Download. REFER to: Transmission Strategy Download .
	Intermediate (2, 6) Clutch regulator valve stuck ON	DISASSEMBLE, CLEAN and INSPECT the intermediate clutch regulator valve. If the bore or valve is damaged, INSTALL a new main control valve body. REFER to: Main Control Valve Body .
	Intermediate (2, 6) Clutch latch valve stuck ON	DISASSEMBLE, CLEAN and INSPECT the intermediate clutch latch valve. If the bore or valve is damaged, INSTALL a new main control valve body. REFER to: Main Control Valve Body .
	Main control valve body cross leaking into PC3, PC3Z and/or CB26 hydraulic circuits	DISASSEMBLE and INSPECT the main control valve body and separator plate passages for cracks, warping, and damage. If damage is found, INSTALL a new main control valve body. REFER to: Main Control Valve Body .
	Intermediate clutch hub/direct clutch drum seized / unable to rotate.	DISASSEMBLE and INSPECT the components for wear and damage. INSTALL new components as necessary. REFER to: Transmission .
	Intermediate clutch friction plates	DISASSEMBLE and INSPECT the friction and steel plates for wear and damage. INSTALL new components necessary. REFER to: Transmission .
	Intermediate clutch piston return spring	DISASSEMBLE and INSPECT the piston return spring for wear and damage. INSTALL new components necessary. REFER to: Transmission .
Intermediate clutch delayed/soft/slipping apply	Incorrect transmission strategy programmed into PCM.	CARRY OUT the Transmission Strategy Download. REFER to: Transmission Strategy Download .
	Low line pressure	CARRY OUT the line pressure test. REFER to: Special Testing Procedures .

	Intermediate (2, 6) clutch regulator or latch valve sticking	DISASSEMBLE, CLEAN and INSPECT the valves. If the bore or valve is damaged, INSTALL a new main control valve body. REFER to: Main Control Valve Body .
	D432, CB26, PC3, PC3Z, CB26FB hydraulic circuits blocked/leaking. PC3 solenoid damper missing/damaged	DISASSEMBLE and INSPECT the main control valve body and separator plate passages for debris/blockage/leaks. CLEAN as necessary. REFER to: Main Control Valve Body .
	Center support cracked, center support bleed hole blocked.	DISASSEMBLE and INSPECT the transmission passages for debris/blockage/leaks. CLEAN as necessary. REFER to: Transmission .

	Main control valve body cross leaking into PC3, PC3Z and/or CB26 hydraulic circuits,	DISASSEMBLE and INSPECT the main control valve body and separator plate passages for cracks, warping, and damage. If damage is found, INSTALL a new main control valve body. REFER to: Main Control Valve Body .
