Differential Fluid Level Check

Check
- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
- If draining is needed, fill to the specified volume.
- Clean the differential fluid drain plug.
- Remove the differential fluid drain plug. Refer to: Specifications .
Torque: 66 lb.ft (90 Nm)

- Clean the differential fluid fill plug.
- Remove the differential fluid fill plug.

NOTE: This step is only performed if draining was not required.
Check the differential gear lubricant. The differential gear lubricant level should be 10-15mm below the fluid level fill plug opening. Refer to: Specifications .
- Install the differential fluid fill plug.
Torque: 25 lb.ft (34 Nm)
