Differential Carrier: Assembly

NOTE: Tighten the ring gear bolts in a cross pattern.

Install the ring gear and the new ring gear bolts. Use the General Equipment: Vise

Torque: Stage 1: 111 lb.ft (150 Nm) | Stage 2: 65 deg.

Using the special tools, install the new differential bearings.
1. Using the general tool, install the new differential bearing. Use Special Service Tool: 205-D044 (D81T-4221-A) Installer, Differential Carrier Bearing.
2. Using the special tools, install the new differential bearing. Use Special Service Tool: 205-153 (T80T-4000-W) Handle., 205-1034 Installer, Differential Bearing.
