Rear Parking Aid Camera: Installation

All vehicles 

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

    Vehicles equipped with a high mounted stoplamp mounted camera 

  2. Using a diagnostic scan tool, following the on screen instructions for the LIN New Module Initialization-BCM configure the BCM.

    Vehicles equipped with rear only parking aid camera 

  3. Using a diagnostic scan tool, following the on screen instructions for the LIN New Module Initialization-BCM configure the BCM.

    Vehicles equipped with 360 deg. cameras only 

  4. Using a diagnostic scan tool, following the on screen instructions for the LIN New Module Initialization-IPMB configure the IPMB.
  5. Align the 360 deg. cameras. Refer to: 360 Degree View Camera Alignment .

    Vehicles equipped with 360 deg. camera and Trailer Reverse Guidance 

  6. Using a diagnostic scan tool, following the on screen instructions for the LIN New Module Initialization-IPMB configure the IPMB.
  7. Align the 360 deg. cameras. Refer to: 360 Degree View Camera Alignment .
