Front Seat Track Motor: Removal

NOTE: Driver seat shown, passenger seat similar.

NOTE: Positioning the seat fully upward provides access to service the seat track motor with the seat in the vehicle.

Move the front seat to the full upward position.

Depower the SRS. Refer to: Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) Depowering .
Disconnect the seat harness electrical connector(s).
1. Detach the wiring harness from the pin-type retainer.
2. Release the locking tab(s) and rotate the position assurance lever(s).

Detach the seat track wiring harness connector retainer(s) from the seat track motor bracket.

NOTE: Seat track components are removed for clarity.

Disconnect the seat track motor electrical connector, detach the wiring harness retainers and position the wiring harness aside.

Remove the seat track motor.
1. Remove the bolts.
2. Position the long seat track motor drive cable out of the seat track gearbox.
