Steering Wheel Switch Functions

The RH steering wheel switch operates the volume +/-, seek +/-, audio mode, mute, voice, send/receive call, and end call functions.
On vehicles without adaptive steering, the switches are monitored by the SCCM, which sends switch inputs to the audio system modules via CAN messages.
On vehicles equipped with adaptive steering, the switches are monitored by the SECM. The SECM sends the switch inputs to the SASM via a private CAN. The SASM then sends the switch inputs to the audio system modules via CAN messages.
